Graham Cook For City Council
As a young renter attempting to start a life in Vancouver, I, like so many others, got involved in this election cycle out of anger. I was angry at over a decade of an inability to fix the out of control housing market. I was angry at seeing workers leave and companies refuse expansion. I was angry at watching friends and family move elsewhere in order to start a life. However, over the past months as I've met more and more Vancouverites and discussed the issues with them, that anger has been replaced by hope and a desire to serve this city. I am excited by the energy and passion being shown by residents across the political spectrum and I now know that this time will be different. We are on the precipice of turning a corner in this city and making a future for coming generations. I am running for City Council to help create that future and bring Vancouverites together towards a common goal.
